Registration is open to all coroners and to anyone involved in, or associated with, the coronial jurisdiction, such as pathologists, forensic scientists, police investigators, lawyers, and grief counsellors. All registrations will be checked and verified, and the Asia Pacific Coroners Society reserves the right to decline any application that does not meet the established participation criteria.

Anyone registering within the APCS Member category must be a current member with the Asia Pacific Coroners Society. All registrations received under this category will be verified by the Society.

Registration

If notification of registration cancellation is made in writing to The Productions House Events prior to 31 August  2026, a full refund will be given (less AU$99 processing fee). After this date no refund will be given, however a substitute delegate may be accepted. Refunds for social functions will be given at the discretion of the event host. Credit card surcharges associated with registrations and social functions will not be refunded under any circumstances. Any refunds will be returned via the same payment method as the original receipt of funds.

All delegates are strongly advised to take out insurance cover for their registration, travel and accommodation in the unlikely event of non-attendance or conference cancellation.

Accommodation

Cancellation fees will be subject to the hotel group booking cancellation policy. Cancellation of bookings must be made via email to the hotel directly. Cancellations after 1 September 2026 are not eligible for refunds.

By registering for the Asia Pacific Coroners Society Conference you will  automatically receive a one year membership to the Asia Pacific Coroners Society. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you therefore consent to receiving future communications about membership and events from Asia Pacific Coroners Society (APCS).

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. The Production House Events and the Asia Pacific Coroners Society will not accept liability for, but not limited to:

• Damages of any nature (including financial) sustained by participants, or loss or damage to their personal property in the event of industrial disruptions or natural disasters;
• Damage to reputation;
• Loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the Conference or through cancellation of the Conference;
• Loss of internal/domestic air fares or accommodation through cancellation for any reason;
• Personal injury or illness of any kind, or death;
• Medical expenses

Insurance is the responsibility of the individual delegate and should be purchased in your country of origin.

Delegates are strongly recommended to take out suitable travel insurance policy including coverage for non-refundable registration fees when you register for the meeting and book your travel.

If you register a third party for any of the events, you must ensure that the third party complies with the registration terms and participation criteria. If you are a guest or a registrant for the event or other third party, it is a condition of your admission to and continued attendance at the event, that you agree to these terms and conditions of registration and attendance and that you comply with them. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions of registration and attendance, please notify us and your name will be removed from the guest list.

The Organisers and Co-Organisers of the Meeting shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations hereunder to the extent such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, strike, civil, governmental or military authority, acts of God, acts of terrorism, acts of war, epidemics, the un-availability of the venue or other similar causes beyond its reasonable control and without fault or negligence. For one or more of such reasons, the organisers and co-organisers of the Meeting shall not be liable to attendee for any direct, consequential or incidental damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodations costs, or financial losses.

There will be photographs/videos taken throughout the conference and at the social events. These may be used for promotional activities, including the Asia Pacific Coroners Society website and on social media. If you do not want your photograph taken, or used, please notify the photographer onsite at your earliest convenience.
